oh - our washer is fixed. Finally, after a week without it. We have tonnes of laundry to catch up on, as you can imagine. Shows us just how much clothing our kids have though! Only Ruby was running dangerously low, and the older kids were out of pjs...but only because they make such a mess of them at breakfast every morning.

So the repair guy was in town today (only once a week...small town) and came by. The problem with the washer was that it wasn't turning on. Rob takes the guy downstairs, says "so, the knob turns, but doesn't pull out...like this" and the knob pulls out and water starts running. Ya, just what it hasn't been doing all week! Rob says, "really, it hasn't been doing this at all!" But it really wasn't working properly because of all the water that fell on it when the bathtub leaked last week. So it got serviced, lubed and cleaned. Funny though, only worked when the repair guy was here. Oh well, off to deal with Mt. Clothing...
