The children just keep growing. It's like Ruby is trying to catch up to Norah. Who, in turn, is trying to catch up to Isaac. Ruby at not quite 3 months, is bigger than Norah was at 7 month, and Isaac at 5. She's the fastest gowing baby I think I've ever seen. She even seems older than her age. She's so responsive to people, it's really lovely to watch.
But back to growing kids. I can't get I to try on clothes. I'm convinced that he's outgrown stuff, but can't manage to get it on him to see. I just want to do it in one sitting, try stuff on and see how it fits, but he is not to be convinced. Even if I'm right about what is too small, he's still got lots of clothes - especially navy pants. This kid could go for days on navy pants.
Today, I'm wishing I was in Vancouver. I want to go window shopping on Granville St or West 4th, take the kids to Granville Island, get a lovely latte and stroll around. I think I get nostalgic for Granville Island when Isaac needs a haircut. The kids salon there was so great, even if it was pricey. He really needs a haircut - in fact, he tells me that every morning.
Oh, and I'm getting an itch to dye my hair something bright and bold again. Any suggestions or ideas? Now to convince Rob...
