Lots to buy before we move. I'm just thrilled with some of our deals, so I'm writing about them.

Down coats - for Rob and I - less than 1/2 price! Boots for Rob, 50% off...was able to get 2 pairs to mix him a set that he can use. Boots for Isaac, 50% off. 2 sweaters for me, 30% off. Ok, so those weren't really needed, but I have some Christmas/birthday money.

We got a stereo to replace our old, broken one. Cheap too. Yay! Music again.

Then there is the mattress set....

they sent the wrong box spring. It was NOT the low-profile one promised. Bed was so high we pretty much had to take a running leap at it. It was taller than Isaac. Rob couldn't sit on it to get his socks on. Took box spring off, mattress on bed frame slats. We will give that a try tonight and see how it goes. They will bring the low-profile one, but it's only a 3 inch difference. Seriously - with technology being what it is, how thick do these things have to get???

Now we only need boots for me and some other basic winter clothes. Not bad! Oh yeah, winter tires too. and a block heater for the car....
