I figure that this blog will be our way of keeping track of our lives and what is going on in them. Not that we are exciting people by any stretch....
It's almost Christmas Eve. I just finished our baking. This year we are giving everyone baking and photos of the kids. Not doing much for our kids, they get so much from family...and we would only have to move it anyway!
It's strange to think that this will be our last Christmas in Vancouver for at least a few years. Given Rob's job, it's not likely that we will be back over the holidays either. *sigh* We're really excited about moving, but knowing we will probably miss big holidays is hard.
The days are really busy right now. So many things to accomplish. Figuring out what we need to get, if it's easier to get here, or easier to move on the truck. Getting quotes on the move - every moving company has such different standards for stuff too - dressers unpacked vs. left with clothes in. The woman who came today was over 1/2 hour late...don't think that bodes well for getting our business!
Got Isaac winter boots. That was fun...ok, I'm lying. He must be his father's son, takes a lot to get him to try on shoes. ;) I was suprised at how NOT busy the mall was, but then again, we were totally relaxed about being there and had the boy in the stroller. Thanks to our landlord for dropping off coupons for McD's ice cream cones, kept the boy occupied. Now for getting us boots!
I should really be in bed, but every night I seem to get a second (or fourth) wind. There is always something to think about, or research, or make lists about. Me and my lists. I'm so glad Rob puts up with them! I need to go to bed in 10 minutes or so - long day again. Finally picking up the kid's photos - that means actually going to a mall again. The plan is to get there by 10 am when they open, then out by 10:30! Wish me luck!
