neighbour rant continues

Darn neighbours....again. Last night, they were up playing video games really loudly right under our bedroom. Rob finally banged on the floor at 12:30. This quieted them down, but not much. I was going to go sleep on the couch it was so loud, but their tv was on too - right under our living room. It was loud in their place past 1 am. I was so mad. Seriously, I don't think I've ever been that upset with them. Possibly with anyone we have shared walls/floors with.

At least we were able to laugh about it...after a while.

Now our landlord is showing the suite. He was telling a couple that the people downstairs were quiet and that they had kids who go to bed early. We had to set him straight - and he knew that they were up late people. I was really ticked that he was lying to these potential renters. John (landlord) is coming by today, and we are going to tell him just how late last night was. If John really wants nice, stable people living here, he is going to have a hard time keeping them with the downstairs renters staying. If they lived in an apartment building, they would have probably been evicted ages ago. They are the most inconsiderate people we have ever shared living space with - and we've had lots of neighbours. I don't think that they know how hard it would be for them to find a new place to live for the rent they are paying, with 2 loud kids, one dog, one cat and 2 turtles.

I've been up since 7 and I'm tired. I wish that Isaac was up so we could play balls in his room...you know, bouncing them all over...yes, that would be in order to tick off the nieghbours. I know, I know, not very mature. Although, we do have some power in this situation...we control the heat....again, not the most mature attitude. *roll eyes* But come on, how many people with new babies are sleep deprived not because of the baby but because of the neighbours???
