still hot

still sleeping downstairs. Right now it's not TOO bad upstairs. Our town is the hotspot for the province as of 9 am. Isaac is at VBS at the Lutheran church this week, I hope it goes well. We may be exploring the idea of partnering with them for VBS next summer. Rob was mad at me yesterday afternoon...and I just can't imagine why. He was sitting on the back deck, I was in the kitchen. He yelled into the house and asked me to please bring him some water. He never said he wanted it in a cup.... *I* thought it was funny, and the expression on his face was priceless. He got over it, and I brought him a drink after that. Although he was complaining that his underwear was still damp hours later. I am just waiting for my payback.

I'm taking the girls to the grocery store in a couple of minutes, it's air conditioned there. We don't really need groceries, but it's a trip to somewhere cool. Walking Isaac the 2 blocks to VBS this morning was really, really hot. I'm craving some really cool air, we're even using fans downstairs. Hmmm...what to make for supper.

Poor baby...Rob, I mean. *giggles*
When we were at Lakenheath, where you only need AC two weeks a year but you really wish you had it those two weeks! we used to walk to the commissary every other day or so, and make sure our route went through (through!) the hospital. You see, those were the only two AC'ed buildings on base.

*i* think it's pretty funny, too. We've been hearing on the radio about all of the very hot weather, and it's hard for me to picture living through it, and trying to carry on ordinary life. I think I'd live on slurpees, beer, and popsicles.

You could always come visit me. Lows of 55F, highs of 75F, partly cloudy. :)

Eep! I meant that post to say that I thought your water-delivery method was funny, *not* the weather!
