What was I thinking?

Open mouth and speak before you think. Preschool pick up on Wednesday "Hey, it's Isaac's birthday on Sunday, I can bring cupcakes on Monday". Sure I can....but that means I have to make them! d'oh!

Cupcakes you say? simple. In theory. If I wasn't already doing the following:

-baking a cake for Sunday
-preparing the house for Isaac's birthday party, in case it rains
-preparing the back yard for Isaac's birthday party, in case it's sunny
-planning the menu for the party - because, it's for supper of course (thanks Rob...)
-taking all 3 kids to another birthday party on Saturday
-doing the groceries and other shopping for Isaac's party
-helping Rob assemble the new patio furniture (a girl loves to use her drill!)
-oh, and you know, taking care of 3 kids and cooking meals for the family too

wait, I also want to get to the trade fair this weekend too. Gotta love a chance to do some shopping. Maybe when the kids are napping tomorrow...because Rob's working all day. At least Rob will be home after church on Sunday and can help with the last minute stuff. Can't get too far ahead with the cleaning...the kids just mess it up again behind me!

And I'm still trying to get thank you notes out for baby gifts...and the baby is almost 6 months old! (how sad am I?) And I'm reading a book that's really making me think, and challenging lots of my thoughts...so I want to get back to reading that every chance I get. And I'm supposed to be scanning in a bunch of stuff for our church's 75th anniversary...

AND I'm supposed to sleep?

ack! forgot I still need to wrap the gift for tomorrow's party!
