woo hoo! a party last night! As snow (and a very, very long work day for Rob) kept us at my mother's for an extra night, I got to join in on my mom's Oscar party. I played bartender for her and her 3 friends. Pomegranate martinis, served with yummy appies. I was a much more successful bartender than my last attempt, years ago...

It was great meeting my mom's friends, her three pals in town. They meet at least twice a week for coffee, church, and laughs. I'm so happy she is finding a home in her new place.

Also, mildly jealous, but that's another post. I was thrilled to come home to some long distance phone messages. People *do* like me!
