I'm supposed to be a Judy's funeral right now. The older two are supposed to be at the daycare drop in spot. We're not. Instead, we had a picnic lunch on the kitchen floor.
a snowstorm blew in today. It's mild, but lots of snow and bad highway conditions. Rob and I made the executive decision that I was going to stay home with the kids. Just as well, Ruby is very snotty in the nose. I don't want to attempt the roads if I don't have to, and I'm not too thrilled with Rob being on them either. But hey, it's not like he has a choice. Oh, and he's sick now too. He was feverish last night, and is stuffy headed and sore throated. Just like I had a couple of weeks ago. Poor guy.
The temps are mild today though, so I'm hoping for some good outdoor time this afternoon after naps. I need a shower though, and to run some laundry. We may end up with dinner guests, and possibly overnight guests depending on the roads this afternoon.
I'm excited though, we are going to have guests in January. There is much irony in who the guests are, given the time of year, it is US who should be going to THEM. hee hee.

Know how you feel about being sick and missing things...Bel and Beaner are supposed to be rehearsing the Xmas pageant right now but Bel has pink eye, an ear infection and a cold and Beaner has a cold with a nice phleghmy (sp?) cough. Not to mention that Bibby has the same cough and cold as Bean and she is teething up a storm and the rice cereal she started is making her seriously constipated...too much info I know!! It sucks to miss important things!
