In my rush to finally get an updated post on here, I forgot some stuff!
We had our first road trip the other weekend. We drove to Cold Lake, AB for a WalMart trip. It was a quick hour and 20 minutes or so to get there. however, the road wasn't that great. Pretty bumpy - but it's our closest WalMart and other big stores! (not to forget, Alberta is the home of no provincial sales tax). Not a bad outing.
We have decided to get water - you know, those free-standing water coolers? Totally needed - the water here is nasty for drinking. So chlorinated, when you shower it sort of smells like a swimming pool. There is a local supply place, and the water is really tasty. It's so funny how much water tastes different from place to place... I think the price of it is worth paying, beats dehydration!
